General Manager West Coast Facility

3PL Worldwide, a world class provider of third party logistics for direct response, e-commerce, catalog marketers and retail distribution, is in search of an operations professional to run its’ expanded West Coast facility. Located just outside of Los Angeles, our new 150,000 square foot location will become a major force in the growth of 3PL Worldwide.

3PL’s fulfillment and distribution facilities have been designed to store a variety of product needs. Our Facilities can handle the unique operating requirements of industries such as apparel, footwear, perishables, hard goods, high security items. We have a digital security system, allowing our clients to view the warehouse whenever they feel the need.

Retail Distribution

3PL utilizes Softshare and EDI Support to manage all of your retail distribution needs. With access to over 2000 retailers, we can get your merchandise there on time, without incident. We manage your EDI process from start to finish. Our EDI specialists know the requirements and make sure your shipments are handled to the retailers specifications. So if Wal-Mart or Target on your mind, rest assured, we can take care of your needs.

Inventory Management

3PL’s inventory management systems, we track your inventory’s every move. Our system keeps track of your purchase orders, and the costs associated with every item shipped and returned. From the receiving function, your inventories are verified, entered, located in bulk, or prime picking locations for order fulfillment. Based on bin characteristics, our system tracks the usage and moves the needed amount from our bulk locations to prime picking locations, keeping picking productivity at it’s highest. All stock adjustments are tracked by user, and full accounting is available in our reporting at the item level. Your inventory is in good hands with 3PL and we are proud of that!

Bicoastal Warehousing & Logistics Save Time and Money

With a total of 300,000 square feet of secure, sprinkler-protected, alarmed, class A warehouse space, 3PL is uniquely situated to minimize landed goods cost and reduce outbound postage and delivery times.

In Connecticut: 150,000-square foot warehouse located in Milford, CT. Ninety minutes from major New York and New Jersey metro ports.

If your business requires around the clock customer service, we utilize a strategic partner Protocol, located just 30 minutes from our facility in Cheshire CT. Protocol is a state of the art facility that accesses our systems remotely allowing seamless service for your customers.
